Bunker Suite
Arthur Williams loved being thought of as a modern and innovative person so he incorporated the latest and greatest household technology and conveniences into his home. Thus, his house had indoor plumbing with hot and cold running water, central vacuum, and a coal fired boiler that produced radiant steam heat for both the house and greenhouse. This departure from the usual wood burning stoves necessitated storing coal in a basement bunker. In what was once the bunker, guests now find our largest accommodation. This recently redecorated suite features large south facing windows that flood its rooms with sunshine year around.
